The Use of Industrial Gases in Welding
- Acetylene: In welding, acetylene's highly flammable characteristics make it ideal for cutting torches. If your project requires oxy-fuel cutting processes, which are generally used to melt iron and steel or solder filler rods to base metals, you'll need acetylene.
